Chloromethane, or chlorinated solvents, are synthesis intermediates used in the pharmaceutical or agricultural sectors for instance. They are also used in fluorochemicals for applications such as solar panels. We serve mainly two types of products chloroform and carbontetrachlorides.

Chloroform produced from methanol, is used as raw material in the production of HCFC 22, itself used on the refrigeration market and totals to 98% of the world sales. Chloroform is used in other applications like automotive, building (piping inlet coating, cable and wire insulation), environment protection, healthcare and home appliances.

Carbon tetrachloride (tetrachloromethane): carbon tetrachloride is exclusively used in the industry. It is mainly used as a solvent and a cleaning agent. It is also used in the production of coolants, propellants and other fluorinated hydrocarbons.
