Applications of Dimethyl Sulphate CAS No. 77-78-1
- DMS is used primarily as a methylating agent to convert compounds such as phenols, amines, and thiols to the corresponding methyl derivatives.
- Used in manufacture of dyes, drugs, perfumes, pesticides, phenol derivatives, fabric softeners, polyurethane-based adhesives, and other organic chemicals.
